Breaking Ground Ministries Without Walls is a Christ-centered ministry with a simple but powerful mission: to reach people wherever they are and remind them that there is hope in Jesus Christ.

We believe ministry is not limited to the four walls of a church building. The church is wherever God's people are serving, praying, encouraging, feeding, teaching, listening, and sharing the love of Jesus.

Our heart is especially for those who may feel forgotten, rejected, broken, discouraged, addicted, lonely, or simply searching for a new beginning. We want people to know that their story is not over and God has not forgotten them.

Our Mission

Our mission is to break new ground through faith, hope, and the Word of God by taking the Gospel beyond traditional church walls and into our communities.

We seek to accomplish this through preaching and teaching God's Word, prayer, Christian radio, community outreach, recovery encouragement, Bible studies, inspirational publications, and partnerships with churches, ministries, businesses, and individuals who share a heart for helping others.

Ministry Without Walls

Jesus did not wait for everyone to come to Him—He went to the people.

That is the example we desire to follow.

We want to reach people in their homes, hospitals, recovery communities, nursing homes, shelters, neighborhoods, workplaces, online communities, and anywhere else someone needs encouragement and hope.

There may be people who will never walk through the doors of a traditional church. We still want them to hear that Jesus loves them.

Spirit Rock Radio 98.5

One of our outreach ministries is Spirit Rock Radio 98.5, an online Christian radio station created to provide uplifting Christian music, prayer, biblical teaching, testimonies, community programming, recovery encouragement, and messages of hope.

Spirit Rock Radio is more than entertainment. It is another way for Breaking Ground Ministries Without Walls to take the Gospel beyond the walls and reach people right where they are.

A Place for the Hurting

We have a special place in our hearts for people who are hurting.

For the person fighting addiction.

For the family going through a difficult season.

For the person who feels alone.

For the individual who believes everyone has given up on them.

For the person wondering whether God still has a purpose for their life.

Our message is:

Don't give up.

There is still hope.

There is still purpose.

There is still another chapter to your story.

God can take broken ground and make something beautiful grow again.

Our Vision

Our vision is to build a ministry where people matter more than numbers, love matters more than recognition, and serving matters more than status.

We desire to work alongside churches and communities rather than compete with them. When God's people work together, we can reach more people, help more families, encourage more hearts, and introduce more people to the saving love of Jesus Christ.

God restores.

God forgives.

God heals broken hearts.

God gives new beginnings.

And sometimes the very place where you were broken becomes the place from which God allows you to help someone else.

Reverend Demetrius Langford

Reverend Demetrius Langford is a pastor, Christian broadcaster, author, and ministry leader with a heart for reaching people who feel forgotten, broken, discouraged, or without hope.

His life is a testimony to the restoring power and grace of God. Reverend Langford has walked through difficult seasons in his own life, including addiction and times when it seemed that his future had been written off. But God had another chapter for his story. Through faith, recovery, and a renewed relationship with Jesus Christ, he discovered that a person's past does not have to determine their future.

Today, Reverend Langford uses his testimony to encourage others with a simple message: God has not given up on you.

Alongside his wife, Dr. Reverend Sonia Langford, he serves through Breaking Ground Ministries Without Walls, a ministry committed to taking the Gospel beyond the traditional walls of the church. Their vision is to reach people wherever they are—through prayer, preaching, community outreach, Christian media, recovery ministry, Bible teaching, and personal encouragement.

Reverend Langford is also a driving force behind Spirit Rock Radio 98.5, an online Christian radio ministry created to provide uplifting music, prayer, biblical teaching, testimonies, recovery encouragement, and a voice of hope for the community.

His heart is especially drawn to people struggling with addiction, loneliness, rejection, discouragement, and the feeling that nobody cares. Having experienced restoration in his own life, he believes ministry should not simply talk about God's love—it should demonstrate that love by reaching people where they are.

Reverend Langford's mission can be summed up in these words:

“They may have written you off, but God can write you back into the story.”

Dr. Reverend Sonia Langford

Dr. Reverend Sonia Langford is a minister, preacher, teacher, Christian broadcaster, and woman of faith whose ministry is centered on hope, healing, prayer, encouragement, and sharing the love of Jesus Christ.

Serving alongside her husband, Reverend Demetrius Langford, she is an important part of the vision and ministry of Breaking Ground Ministries Without Walls.

Dr. Reverend Sonia believes that ministry is not limited to a church building. People need encouragement in their homes, hospitals, communities, workplaces, recovery journeys, and during the private battles that others may never see. Her desire is to help people understand that even in life's most difficult seasons, God is still present.

Her ministry carries a special message for those who are hurting: your struggle does not cancel God's purpose for your life.

Through preaching, prayer, teaching, testimony, Christian media, and community outreach, Dr. Reverend Sonia seeks to encourage people to trust God when the road ahead is uncertain. She reminds people that faith does not mean we will never face storms; faith means knowing that God remains with us while we walk through them.

Together, Dr. Reverend Sonia and Reverend Demetrius Langford share a vision of ministry that reaches beyond denominations, backgrounds, circumstances, and church walls. Their desire is not simply to build an organization, but to build a community where hurting people can find hope, prayer, encouragement, fellowship, and the Word of God.
